How I Winterized My Travel-Inspired Dinner Party
Friends having dinner party at home. It is a feast of food of all color and they are enjoy in every moment of the evening. They are happy and well dressed. Home is decorated with festive string lights and candles. Evening or night.

I had a lot of fun creating this winter-themed dinner party. It was a great way to kick off the season, and I hope you enjoy it too! here is How I Winterized My Travel-Inspired Dinner Party !

From the music

When it comes to setting the mood, music is an excellent way to do so. It can make people feel happy or sad, energetic or relaxed. You can use music to help people dance or relax, depending on what you want your party guests to be feeling at any given moment. The right song can transport you into a different place entirely—so long as it’s upbeat enough!

To the food

The menu was based on the season. As you know, I live in Los Angeles, which is considered one of the sunniest cities in the world. In addition to being warmer than other places during winter months (like New York), it’s also closer to Mexico and Central America than many other states are—and that means there are tons of delicious ingredients that won’t be around until springtime.

In this case, my inspiration came from three things: music (of course), centerpiece (a stringed instrument made from reeds) and color scheme (red).

To the centerpiece

  • I used a vintage tablecloth
  • I used a gold charger
  • I also had some fresh herbs on hand, which is always nice.

I got all my essentials from Target

You can get everything you need for a dinner party at Target. I was so excited when I found out that they had an entire section of kitchen essentials and tools, including their own line of thermoses and cups.

And here are some more essential details from the party!

  • Music

I used Spotify to play the music, but you can use any service that has your albums in its library. I also recommend getting a playlist or mix of songs that are relevant to the theme of your dinner party and playing those throughout the evening.

  • Food

If you’re going for something classic and simple, like lasagna or chicken enchiladas with guacamole cream sauce (yum!), then go ahead. Make them ahead of time so they’ll be ready when guests arrive at your house! But if you want something more adventurous (and less traditional), try making some kind of appetizer. Think shrimp cocktail bites with mango salsa verde or fried calamari stuffed with frisee lettuce & capers or grilled cheese sandwiches topped with tomato-bacon jam. The possibilities are endless!

If there’s one thing we’ve learned over our years together here at [company name], it’s that no matter how much planning goes into an event like this one—or even just hosting friends over for dinner at home—there are always going places where things fall apart unexpectedly: think spilled wine glasses being replaced by napkins while someone calls out from another room saying they need help putting away dishes after dinner service ends early due to unexpected circumstances outside our control like traffic jams caused by construction workers who weren’t supposed/too lazy/didn’t know how long it takes would take longer than expected since everyone was late getting there? At least now we know what not having enough napkins means 😉

The takeaway is the most important part of any article, and it’s also a good place to introduce new information. For example:

  • If you’re talking about how to make your home more energy efficient, then your takeaway could be “how to insulate your windows.”
  • If you’re writing an article about travel tips for winter travel, then maybe one of the things you want people who read this article to do is book a vacation at their next chance. In that case, your takeaway might be something like: “If you’re looking for places near where I live that are warm enough during wintertime but don’t have harsh winters (or even ones with mild winters), here are 10 destinations worth considering.”

Overall, I think it’s important to take the time to plan for a winterized dinner party. Not only does it give you an opportunity to use your favorite dishes and recipes, but it also gives you an excuse to spend some quality time with friends—which makes this season all the more special!
